As a Care Coordinator, you will be the heartbeat of the service, ensuring smooth scheduling and outstanding support for our Care Assistants and customers across the Vale. Key Responsibilities
* Scheduling and matching Care Assistants to customers in Cardiff and the surrounding area
* Ensuring seamless rota cover and smooth care delivery across the region
* Handling new referrals and updating care plans accordingly
* Working closely with the office team to maintain accurate records and reports
* Supporting Care Assistants to ensure they have what they need to deliver high‑quality care
* Participating in the on‑call rota (1 weekday per week and 1 weekend in 4)
Requirements
* Minimum 1 year's experience in the care sector (Senior Care Assistant level)
* Previous Care Coordinator experience
* Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification (required)
* QCF in Health & Social Care & Social Care Wales registration (desirable but not essential)
* Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
* Ability to stay organised, calm, and focused under pressure
* Strong communication and people‑management skills
