How you will Energise Our Team Our Customer Service department is the key contact area for our customers and their energy needs. We are currently seeking a Customer Service Advisor to support with increased business demand. You will need to have a strong customer focus background and lead the way in delivering outstanding customer service to our growing portfolio of business-to-business customers. You will handle inquiries, issues, and service requests allowing for a timely resolution using influencing, assertive negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. You will need to a have passion for helping people, contributing meaningfully to Valda Energy’s mission of delivering smart, reliable energy solutions to businesses across the UK. The day-to-day responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following: Answer customer queries through various channels (emails, calls and chats) promptly to enhance the customer service experience Patiently listen to customers to address their concerns adhering to a first contact resolution approach Accurately record and logs interaction with customers and update account information Work with management & other departments to maintain best practices for effective communication with customers Maintain knowledge of updated company processes and policies to provide accurate guidance to customers Meet regularly with team leader to give feedback to help improve customer service, response time and the staff experience Willing to learn to apply company policy and process to customer solutions Support the company’s ‘one team’ culture The Spark we're Looking For Minimum of 1 year’s prior experience in a customer-facing role Communicates clearly and confidently, both verbally and in writing, explaining information effectively while engaging positively with customers and colleagues. Takes a proactive and resourceful approach to identify issues and deliver practical solutions that enhance customer satisfaction. Pays close attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in handling information and processes to maintain high-quality service. Prioritises customers’ needs in every interaction, consistently delivering a supportive, efficient, and positive experience.
