Purpose of the role:
The PX Specialist will be responsible for 501’s people experience strategy from start to finish, ensuring the business attracts, hires and retains the highest quality talent and ensuring all employees have a smooth people experience within 501. This role plays a critical part in building a high-performing, values-aligned workforce that supports the company’s growth and strategic objectives.
The role will proactively partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, develop effective sourcing strategies, enhance employer branding, optimize and automate our systems and processes and deliver an exceptional candidate and employee experience.
This role offers the opportunity to grow into a broader People position as the company scales, with increasing ownership across the full employee experience.
Core Responsibilities:
* Lead and execute 501’s recruitment strategy to meet current and future hiring needs across all departments.
* Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, from job descriptions and advertising to interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
* Partner with hiring managers to understand team needs, role requirements, and desired candidate profiles.
* Review and optimize 501’s internal systems and processes, focussing on people experience from start to finish
* Work with the People & Talent Manager on key employment offerings, benefits and company events
* Implement and manage an effective applicant tracking system (ATS), ensuring accurate data capture and reporting.
* Ensure all recruitment activities are compliant with employment law, company policy and internal hiring guidelines.
* Track key hiring metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, quality of hire) and provide regular reporting to senior leadership.
* Act as a brand ambassador, delivering a positive and engaging candidate experience at every stage of the hiring journey.
