Job description
Our client, a prominent organisation in the Defence & Security sector, is seeking skilled Electrical Technicians specialising in IPC to join their team on a permanent basis. This role involves working with assembly processes within the defence and security field, contributing to critical projects with a dedicated and professional team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Performing electrical and electronic assembly tasks following IPC standards
2. Assembling components and systems according to technical specifications and blueprints
3. Conducting inspections and tests to ensure quality and functionality
4. Diagnosing and resolving assembly-related issues efficiently
5. Collaborating with other team members to ensure project deadlines are met
6. Maintaining accurate records of work completed and materials used
7. Adhering to safety protocols and regulations within the defence and security environment
Job Requirements:
8. Experience in electrical and electronic assembly, preferably within the Defence & Security sector
9. Knowledge of IPC standards and practices
10. Strong attention to detail and precision in assembly tasks
11. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
12. Problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot assembly issues
13. Effective communication and teamwork abilities
