The Willow Group is seeking a Salaried GP to join our expanding team. You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing sustainable, population-based health and social care, ensuring patients are seen promptly by the most appropriate clinician within the Extended Primary Care Team.
The Willow Group is partnered with Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, one of the largest Community and Mental Health Trusts in the UK, offering opportunities to develop skills across multidisciplinary teams in various specialties.
We operate over 5 sites, providing:
* GP-led services with a skilled team including ANPs, Nurses, Pharmacists, CPNs, First Contact Practitioners in MSK, Physician's Associates, Paramedics, Social Prescribers, supported by an efficient admin team
* Training for FY2s, GP Registrars, Nurses, and Physician's Associates
* Primary Care Research
* Same Day Access Service
* Home Visiting Service
* A strong MDT approach to routine care
* 15-minute appointments with flexible options including telephone, video, online, or face-to-face consultations
* Clinical administration sessions
The post-holder will undertake duties typical of a GP in primary care, including:
* Making autonomous clinical decisions
* Consulting with patients in the surgery, at home, or via remote mechanisms
* Handling triage calls and visits, managing repeat prescriptions
* Screening for disease risk factors and early signs of illness
* Developing care plans in line with practice protocols
* Providing health education and counseling
* Managing caseloads, referrals, and discharge processes
* Adhering to clinical governance and practice policies
* Supporting systems for chronic condition management
* Recording clear consultation notes
* Contributing to research, audits, and clinical governance activities
* Prescribing in accordance with formulary
* Meeting CPD requirements
