We are looking for a dependable and dedicated Kitchen Assistant who is seeking a rewarding job within our Extra Care scheme, Golau Ceredig in Barry. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the cook with a high standard of food preparation whilst maintaining a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness.
This is a permanent role working 0 hours per week. Please note when making your application that we are not offering sponsorship for this role.

To be successful in this role you will need to have the skills and knowledge to communicate at all levels and be able to prioritise your workload effectively. You will ensure that all customers and colleagues are treated with equality, dignity and respect.

Where you will be working
Golau Caredig provides affordable independent living accommodation for people over 55 in 42 purpose-built one and two-bedroom flats. Individual care and support is provided by ‘in house’ domiciliary care and a tenant support service. The development is close to Barry town centre and includes several communal facilities including a restaurant, hairdressers, launderette and multi-use activity area.
