Global Head of Application Solutions
Locations: London or Paris
Application solutions oversee the end-to-end delivery of business solutions for strategic and non-strategic applications, managing solution delivery, production support, and maintenance across all platforms. Delivery is through waterfall and scaled agile frameworks. The role involves creating and maintaining stakeholder relationships, understanding business strategies, and ensuring cost-efficient application delivery to support transformational change.

Responsibilities include:
1. Developing and executing the Application Solutions Operating Model in collaboration with business units, TCD, GT teams, and vendors to create a scalable, cost-effective function.
2. Enhancing the efficiency of the Applications Solutions Operating Model through cross-functional partnerships.
3. Managing end-to-end application delivery for AXA XL, ensuring alignment with governance and realization of business benefits.
4. Partnering with Transformation Change Delivery and business teams for effective project delivery on time, within scope and budget.
5. Aligning technical strategies with business and architectural strategies.
6. Collaborating with stakeholders on opportunities, issues, and governance.
7. Managing vendor relationships, driving continuous cost improvements.
8. Establishing organizational goals aligned with broader business and technology visions.
9. Working with Digital Factory and Transversal Apps Services to improve delivery efficiencies.
10. Handling procurement processes, including RFI/RFPs, contract negotiations, and vendor performance management.
11. Developing business cases for application investments and ensuring funding.
12. Adhering to security policies, DPO, and audit standards through SDLC.
13. Addressing audit concerns, managing risks, and controlling budgets.
14. Sharing best practices across vendors.
This role reports to the Chief Information Officer.
Ideal candidates will have:
* Extensive IT and business experience, managing large teams or projects, and influencing senior stakeholders.
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences.
* Vendor management expertise, familiar with T&M, Managed Services, Managed Outcome models, and agile/waterfall delivery.
* Ability to articulate problems, create solutions, and present analyses effectively.
* Leadership in implementing best practices and managing change.
* Deep knowledge of application development/testing processes and SDLC methodologies.
* Adaptability to new strategies, technologies, and cultures.
* Financial forecasting and business case development skills.
* Understanding of Scaled Agile and experience leading high-quality development teams.
* Strong planning, organizational, and operational vision skills.
