As a Partner in the Hertford & Royston NFU Mutual Agency, you'll be part of an insurance business that's at the heart of the community. You'll be supporting a wide range of customers, across farming, commercial, high net worth and rural to ensure they get the high levels of service they'd expect from NFU Mutual.
You'll use your understanding of the rural economy to help build commercial relationships across NFU Mutual's sectors of expertise.
Using your leadership and management skills, you'll work with your business partners to shape the business, to enable it to grow further and to maximise its potential.
This is a self-employed role with the support of one of the UK's largest insurers. You'll have opportunities to develop professionally, to gain new skills and to learn from an already high performing team.
Your experience and ambitions for the future
You'll be a key partner in the business at the Hertford & Royston Agency, and will be an integral part of the leadership team that is shaping the business and planning for the future. You'll use your passion for the farming and agriculture sector to help create tailored insurance solutions that meet the needs of rural communities, be that farming, high net worth or commercial customers. You'll have the ambition to grow this insurance business whilst also supporting existing customers.
You'll drive growth within the farming sector whilst also working with SME and Corporate clients across a range of sectors. The diversification and modernisation of farming is also your opportunity to specialise in this sector. You'll achieve this by using your sales and people skills to build strong and lasting relationships

You'll be the voice of the Union, bringing the agriculture community together and sharing best-practice and policy updates. With full backing from the NFU, you'll have access to expert advice and specialist support on everything from policy and increasing membership numbers to marketing and media. In this role you're supporting the needs of this active farming community and opening doors to future business opportunities for your agency.
