We are recruiting a Senior Accountant in the Social Care Finance Department. The role involves overseeing and managing the GBP31.5m Home Care and Direct Payments budgets, including budget setting, monitoring, and account closure. You will raise significant issues with senior management and recommend corrective actions.
You will advise services and managers on financial governance, self-service, and adherence to financial regulations. Additionally, you will provide financial analysis to support strategic planning and medium-term financial strategies.
The role includes financial modelling for retendering of Home Care services and supporting ASC reform plans.
Our hybrid working model supports mobile IT and hot desk facilities across the borough. Professional supervision will be provided.
