What You’ll Do
Location: Paddington or Newbury
To support the Director and the team leading Vodafone Cloud Infrastructure and Service Management business. The role includes financial support for major projects, controlling OPEX and CAPEX budgets, preparing month-end closing reports, and analysis for actuals vs. budgets. Provide standard finance support for the VCI and SM organization (monthly reporting, tracker updates, journal postings, forecasts, and budgets).
1. Become a virtual member of these teams — support and partner with the Director and direct reports. Manage financial governance of the business.
2. Share best practices across local markets to drive cost reduction and meet OPEX targets.
3. Build strong relationships with Business and VSOL Finance teams.
4. Liaise with management on financial and operational issues.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
1. Manage financial controls, ensure governance, and deliver high-quality financial insights and challenges.
2. Lead the budgeting process and monthly reviews for the department.
3. Act as a financial consultant, facilitating interactions with other finance functions and market teams.
4. Manage senior stakeholder relationships and contribute to target setting and cost reduction initiatives.
5. Implement processes and systems to support organizational changes and improvements.
6. Support ad-hoc initiatives and projects as required.
Who You Are

3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels.
4. Sound judgment and effective decision-making.
5. Strong analytical and Excel skills.

Must-have technical/professional qualifications:
1. ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified or experience in international blue-chip companies.
2. Strong technology understanding and service provider model knowledge.
3. Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
4. Effective communication and presentation skills for senior stakeholders.
5. Ability to influence and build relationships at a senior level.
