An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Administrator/ Receptionist to join a Secondary School located in Sunderland.
A Secondary School in which is situated in Sunderland is looking for an Administrator to join their team. This post is going to be a long-term position, starting as a temporary position.
Responsibilities
* Reception duties, answering general telephone calls, face to face enquiries and signing in visitors.
* Assist with pupil first aid/welfare duties and liasing with parents.
* Assisting with arrangements for visits by school nursers, photographers etc.
* Assist in arrangements for school trips, events etc.
* Maintain Manual and computerised records.
* Sort and distribute mail.
* Undertake general financial administration such as processing orders, collecting money and undertaking basic book keeping such as petty cash.
Qualifications
* Experience of using SIMS (essential)
* Be passionate and dedicated to their job
* A desire to make a positive difference the pupils they work with.
