As our Summer workforce return back to Uni we are looking for Front of house/Bar/Counter staff from now until the end of October.
Part time hours available covering evening shifts two or three evenings a week. Start around 4/5pm until around 9/10pm. We close on a Monday and Tuesday.
Located on the water's edge our growing independently owned business operates from the historical Old Lifeboat House, Coverack, on the Lizard Peninsula in Cornwall, TR12 6SX.
Our busy takeaway serves the usual quality fish and chip shop items to a high standard. We also have a small restaurant serving a range of speciality homemade dishes for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner.

The purpose of the role:-
· To ensure the Restaurant and take away delivers and exceeds guest expectations, ensuring service, quality and consistency to agreed specifications.
· Ensure a high standard of cleanliness is maintained at all times.
· Keeping the outside and inside dining areas clear of any rubbish and waste.
· Assist in the daily ordering and stock rotation.
· Recognise customer dissatisfaction and deal with complaints speedily.
· Managing and training any team members working with you.
· Complying with Health & Safety at all times.
We are looking for candidates who:-
Are reliable and have transport to and from work.
· Have experience in a friendly, fast paced catering environment.
· Bar experience an advantage.
· Be organised and motivated with a flexible, "Can do" approach to work.
· Excellent commitment to customer service.
· Good oral/written communication skills.
· Good knowledge of maths and be confident operating a till, complying with in house cash handling procedures.
· The ability to work under pressure.
· Have a cool head and embrace responsibility with the ability to delegate appropriately.
· Due to our rural location transport is essential.
· Proof that they have the right to work in the UK.
