Salary: £38,000 £42,000 Door-to-Door Overtime Company Car
We are currently recruiting for a CNC Field Service Engineer to join a well-established and highly respected machine tool company supporting customers across the UK.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC Field Service Engineer with either a mechanical or electrical bias to join a business offering strong earning potential, varied work, and long-term stability.
The Role CNC Field Service Engineer:
As a CNC Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, fault finding, and installing CNC machine tools at customer sites across the UK.
Typical responsibilities include:
* Fault finding and diagnostics on CNC machinery
* Mechanical or electrical repair work depending on your bias
* Installation and commissioning of machines
* Preventative maintenance and servicing
* Working on lathes and machining centres
Mechanical CNC Field Service Engineer experience may include:
* Ball screw and linear guide replacement
* Spindle rebuilds and alignments
* Machine geometry and installation work
Electrical CNC Field Service Engineer experience may include:
* Fault finding on drives, controls and circuits
* Use of diagnostic equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes)
* Working with Fanuc or Okuma controls

The Candidate:
* Experience working as a CNC Field Service Engineer or CNC Maintenance Engineer
* Mechanical or electrical qualifications
