* Oversee the RH transport fleet and ensure vehicles are properly maintained, repaired when needed, and on a regular preventative maintenance schedule.
* Track vehicle telematics to monitor driver performance and identify any issues or training needs.
* Ensure the transport fleet meets all regulatory and compliance requirements.
* Proactively managing and motivating the team and the shift, engaging colleagues to ensure the best performance.
* Encourage a culture of excellent customer service ‘right first time’ with the team.
* Manage the team to achieve targeted daily and weekly Key Performance Indicators and improve our RH Net Promoter Score
* Ensure department operates in line with all company and customer procedures and requirements relating to Health and Safety
* Ensure processes and procedures are adhered to throughout the operation, with exceptional focus on health and safety.
* Ensure sufficient resource is available in order to meet performance expectations, including managing recruitment and agencies.
* Responsible for driving high levels of employee engagement through development of colleagues, regular 1-1 reviews, participation in site activities etc.
* Work closely with RH Shift Manager, RH Warehouse and RH Planning teams.
* Ensure that any performance, conduct, or capability issues are thoroughly investigated, and any required resulting actions are completed in a timely manner.
* Make any necessary alterations to the RH Transport plan, providing feedback to the RH & Wincanton Planning team where required.
The Role

The Person
* Experience of managing large transportation fleets of 25+ vehicles
* Successful track record of controlling fleet costs through data-driven decision making.
* Experience implementing transportation management systems for efficient fleet administration.
* An experienced Supervisor with Delighting the customer with the delivery service focus within in a Transport environment.
* Energetic, resilient, flexible and go the extra mile.
* Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Office programs.
* Excellent communication skills
* Works well under tight deadlines with a keen eye for detail and a right first-time approach.
* Good knowledge of Transport legislation
* Experience of Kronos time management and Oracle is an advantage.
* Able to work shift work, including weekend working (required)
