SEN Tutor – Community Based (9am – 3pm)
We are seeking a patient, creative and dedicated SEN Tutor to provide 1:1 support for a child with complex needs in the community. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference, helping to develop confidence, independence and key learning skills outside of a school setting.
Role Details:
Hours: 9:00am – 3:00pm (Monday – Friday)
Location: Community-based role, supporting the child in daily learning and life skills
Support Needs: Complex needs, requiring a personalised, flexible approach to learning and engagementKey Responsibilities:
Deliver tailored learning activities in line with the child’s individual needs and abilities
Use creative strategies to engage the child in learning, social interaction and personal development
Promote independence and confidence through structured routines and positive reinforcement
Collaborate with parents, therapists and other professionals to ensure a consistent approach
Maintain clear records of progress and daily activitiesAbout You:
Experienced in supporting children with complex needs, ideally in SEN or therapeutic settings
Patient, empathetic and resilient, with the ability to adapt approaches when needed
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Able to work independently, with initiative and creativity
Relevant qualifications (teaching, SEN, childcare or therapeutic background) desirable but not essentialWhat We Offer:
