The Opportunity This role is perfect for an experienced Practice Nurse or a nurse transitioning into primary care with relevant treatment-room experience. You will work closely with the wider clinical team to deliver safe, effective and patient-centred services within a busy yet supportive environment. Key Responsibilities Treatment Room Duties Childhood & adult immunisations Cervical screening Wound care & suture removal Travel vaccinations Venepuncture B12, contraception & routine injections NHS Health Checks ECGs, urine testing & basic observations Chronic Disease Management Asthma reviews COPD reviews Diabetes management CHD monitoring Additional Duties Maintain accurate clinical records Support QOF and enhanced services Contribute to infection control and treatment-room safety Educate and support patients in health promotion What We’re Looking For NMC-registered Nurse Experience in General Practice is desirable, but strong treatment-room skills will also be considered Confident in immunisations, screening and core nursing duties Strong communication skills with a patient-centred approach Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Commitment to professional development What the Practice Offers Supportive and welcoming team culture Flexible working patterns Protected time for development where appropriate Competitive salary package NHS pension Opportunities for ongoing CPD and progression
