We are seeking a dynamic Maintenance Manager to lead our Maintenance Department at Dinorwig Power Station, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals. The role involves establishing maintenance objectives, budgets, and KPIs to optimize plant and team performance, in collaboration with group colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and oversee plans for preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance.
* Ensure compliance with statutory and company standards.
* Set goals for team management, staff development, and recruitment.
* Provide engineering and quality guidance for maintenance activities.
* Monitor KPIs to improve unit availability and performance.
* Collaborate on strategic planning with Asset Management and Shift Managers.
* Develop contingency and recovery strategies.
* Review maintenance procedures, risk assessments, and processes.
* Manage Quality Management System requirements.
* Communicate strategies and lessons learned across departments.
* Implement new working practices as needed.
* Plan outages strategically to minimize commercial impact.
Knowledge and Skills:
* Extensive experience in power plant maintenance, engineering, and operations.
* Strong leadership, communication, and planning skills.
* Familiarity with relevant legislation and standards.
* Proficiency in IT and problem-solving capabilities.
* Ability to build relationships and manage resources effectively.
Experience:
* Significant O&M experience in power stations or similar environments.
* Proven track record in project delivery and maintenance performance analysis.
* Experience in developing policies, contract management, and budgeting.
Qualifications:
Essential:
* Engineering degree or equivalent with experience.
* Membership of an engineering institution.
* IOSH Managing Safely certification.
Desirable:
* Management qualifications or recognition.
* Chartered Engineer status or progress towards it.
* NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
