About The Role
We're looking for a meticulous and proactive Payroll Officer to join our shared services team, providing expert payroll support across both HealthHarmonie and Medinet. You'll play a key role in ensuring our employees are paid accurately and on time, while helping us maintain high standards of compliance and employee satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
 * Process monthly payroll for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
 * Maintain and update payroll records, including starters, leavers, and contract changes.
 * Ensure compliance with HMRC, pension, and statutory requirements.
 * Reconcile payroll and pension contributions, producing reports as needed.
 * Support payroll audits and internal reviews.
 * Respond to payroll queries from employees with professionalism and clarity.
 * Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure smooth data flow and accuracy.
About You
 * Previous experience in a payroll position (experience in multi-company or shared-service payroll is an advantage).
 * Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, PAYE, NI, SSP, SMP, and pension processing.
 * Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
 * Confident using payroll and HR systems (experience with Sage or similar preferred).
 * Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
 * Able to handle sensitive information confidentially.
