Job Description
3. Manage and optimise network infrastructure, including virtual networks, cloud platforms, and WAN technologies.
4. Configure and maintain firewalls, routers, switches, and load balancers.
5. Deploy security and operational updates in line with business guidelines.
6. Monitor network performance and resolve bottlenecks.
7. Support backup and disaster recovery solutions.
8. Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud services and architecture
9. Dell Servers, including iDrac
10. Knowledge of SAN's operations
The Successful Applicant
A successful Network and Infrastructure Engineer should have:
11. Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP), subnetting, VLANs, VPNs, and load balancing.
12. Experience with FortiNet firewalls and Cisco switches (including CLI configuration and firmware updates).
13. Proficiency in Windows operating systems and active directory.
14. Demonstrated ability to design / troubleshoot complex network.
15. Experience working with hybrid infrastructure and virtual networks.
16. Ability to work collaboratively across infrastructure and security teams.
17. Willingness to work outside of core hours when required.
