Cyber Security Controls EngineerResponsibilities:Enhance control software for Power Management Systems, ensuring adherence to cyber security standards on Windows & QNX platforms.Develop and implement security standards, best practices, procedures, and checklists for control systems.Implement secure network protocols like SSL/TLS, HTTPS, SSH, SFPT, and secure industrial protocols for Power Management Systems.Conduct ongoing threat analysis and risk assessments to proactively identify and mitigate potential security risks for Power Management Systems.Ensure high software quality control standards using GitLab.Provide technical specifications and application engineering expertise for control system projects, supporting project execution based on workload and priority.Actively engage in cross-functional activities including customer meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and project reviews.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in software/controls/electrical engineering or equivalent.Proven experience in cyber security implementation within control systems, including risk assessment, encryption, password protection, and adherence to IEC/international standards.Experience in interpreting customer/cyber security standards requirements and network topology to devise compliant solutions.Strong proficiency in C++ programming.Proficiency in C# programming is advantageous.Knowledge of software-based microsystems/control and communication systems such as Modbus, TCP-IP Ethernet, and network communications redundancy.Familiarity with automation and control system cybersecurity standards like IEC62443.Knowledge of operating systems including QNX, Linux, and Windows.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
