An exciting opportunity has arisen at Trafford Early intervention in psychosis service.
We are looking to recruit a registered Nurse Associate to work to undertaking Physical Health Care assessments, monitoring and support to engage in appropriate interventions and lifestyle choices.
EIT is a fast paced, dynamic, supportive, well performing team within the Trafford directorate of GMMH covering a wide geographical area serving the local community in the borough of Trafford.
The successful applicant will have some experience of working with service users with a range of needs, mental health and substance use difficulties
The post holder will be able to hold clinics and work as part of a busy multi-disciplinary team supporting service users to address their physical and mental health needs.
Main duties of the job
1. Health Promotion & physical health /lifestyle interventions
2. Physical Health Improvement Tool in line with shared care protocol
3. support to access timely referral to substance misuse services
4. Clozapine, & Depot clinics
5. Undertake Venepuncture as directed by Advanced Nurse Practitioner as required.
6. Undertake ECG as directed by Advanced Nurse Practitioner/Medic as required.
7. Supporting annual flu vaccination clinics
8. Administration of depot medication
9. Clozapine service users

26. Have previously completed a placement or have been employed in a community mental health setting.
