Our customer base spans major OEMs in a range of sectors such as automotive, medical, transport and construction. Behind the scenes, our state-of-the-art equipment includes the largest compression moulding presses in the UK, robotic cells, 5-axis CNC machines, conveyorized paint lines and advanced assembly fixtures. As Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be given primary responsibility for the management of all electrical systems, preventative and reactive as well as playing a key role in exciting new projects. Duties: Fault diagnostics on 5 axis CNC machines and Hydraulic Presses Setting up and maintaining 7 Axis Robotic Cell Calibrating 5 axis CNC machining centres Proactive planning and reactive maintenance across an automated plant Project work to improve machine availability and reduce downtime Identifying problems on machinery / equipment and carrying out effective permanent repairs Ensuring a safe and clean working environment is always kept through thorough housekeeping Liaising with external service engineers and contractors as required Recording details of work carried out and spares used. Sourcing spare parts and ordering. Actively supporting the quality system within the plant. Carrying out a preventative maintenance program and maintain records. Dealing with emergency breakdowns as they occur Essential Requirements: - Must be a Time/Skill-Served Mechanical / Electrical Engineer with Industrial Experience. Experience of Fabrication. Experience in the use of Hydraulics and Pneumatics Experience of Electro / Mechanical Systems. Good diagnostic and problem- solving skills Good organisation and reasoning ability Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Excellent time keeping record. Willingness to hit set targets.
