Permanent • Full Time (36 Hours) • Wandsworth, London

Responsibilities
* Support children who are living with relatives, friends, foster families, prospective adopters, or in children’s homes and semi-independent settings.
* Build sustainable relationships with children and plan for their permanence, ensuring safety and supporting independence.
* Conduct regular visits, assessments and review Care Plans; champion and support children and young people in reaching their full potential.
* Prepare reports and attend court hearings as required.
* Receive regular supervision and consultations with the Clinical Family Therapy service; work with other social workers, placement support officers, and partner organisations (Health Services, CAMHS, Independent Reviewing Officers).
Essential Qualifications, Skills And Experience
* A qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England, with ASYE completed.
* Previous experience of working with Looked After Children.
* Confident in knowledge and practice, with experience across voluntary and statutory settings.
* Collaborative communicator who brings compassion, creativity and clarity to the work.
* Champion for children and families, with belief in their potential and rights.
