Working across a portfolio of commercial clients, you'll be the go-to expert for air conditioning and HVAC maintenance, installations, and reactive repairs.This is your chance to join a growing business with high-quality clients, realistic overtime opportunities, and a great work-life balance and strong internal career progression routes.Mobile Role: Covering Edinburgh, Midlothian & Central BeltWorking Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm 41.25 hrs/weekOn-Call/Callout: £150 per week, with overtime rates:Weekday evenings from 5:30pm: x1.5Saturday AM: x1.5 Saturday PM: x2Sundays: x2Company Van Provided private use available at approx. £94/month for 1000 milesDuties & Responsibilities:Provide planned and reactive maintenance, installation, and fault-finding on AC and HVAC systems.Deliver works within agreed SLAs to ensure customer satisfaction.Conduct minor electrical fault diagnostics.Participate in a 1-in-X callout rota, with a minimum 4 hours' paid for first call.Complete installations and small works on air conditioning systems.Monitor contractors on-site, issue permits, and ensure safety standards are upheld.Represent the company professionally, maintaining high standards in both technical delivery and customer service.Qualifications Qualifications must have one of the following:City & Guilds 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants F-Gas Cat 1 or CITB J11 EquivalentPlus one of the below:NVQ 2/3 or City & Guilds in Commercial Refrigeration & AC SystemsNVQ 2/3 or City & Guilds in Heating & VentilationNVQ 2/3 or City & Guilds in Heating & Ventilation Service & MaintenanceAdditional Requirements:Full UK Driving LicenceIPAF / PASMA preferredElectrical qualifications preferredExperience in reactive and planned AC/HVAC maintenance across commercial environmentsWorking knowledge of H&S procedures, risk assessments & method statementsBenefits: Real development opportunities – internal mobility encouragedWork with high-profile commercial clientsNo early starts – work-life balance focusedSupportive leadership and strong team cultureIndustry-standard tools, tech and training providedOpportunity to grow into multi-skilled or supervisory roles25 days holiday and bank holidays
