Status: Internship (Full-Time, Temporary – Summer 2025)
Reports to: Senior Vice President of Human Resources
Pay Range: $20–$22/hour

Job Summary:

We’re looking for a creative, digitally savvy, and communications-driven intern to join our team for Summer 2025. This role offers hands-on experience across internal and external communications, social media content creation, campaign coordination, and digital storytelling. You’ll help shape and amplify our brand voice while gaining valuable skills in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Essential Functions and Duties:

1. Support the execution of digital communication campaigns across email, intranet, and social media
2. Create engaging visual and written content for internal and external channels, including newsletters, blogs, social media posts, and press releases
3. Assist in managing day-to-day activities across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
4. Help maintain and organize a shared content calendar for communications and social media
5. Research industry trends, hashtags, competitor activity, and media opportunities
6. Monitor and report on communication and social media KPIs and analytics
7. Capture behind-the-scenes photos/videos during events or property visits
8. Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Marketing, Operations, and hotel teams to source stories and drive engagement
9. Ensure brand consistency in all written and visual content

Required Experience, Education, and Skills:

10. Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field
11. Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills
12. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
13. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
14. Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok)
15. Team-oriented, curious, and eager to learn

Preferred Qualifications:

16. Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools
17. Comfortable managing content calendars and coordinating posts using tools like Microsoft Outlook
18. Knowledge of email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact)
19. Understanding of SEO and digital marketing analytics
20. Experience with photo/video editing or short-form content creation (e.g., Reels, TikTok)
21. Passion for the hospitality or the travel industry

Work Environment:

This position operates in a professional office environment.
Some remote work may be available based on business needs.
