About The Role: We’re looking for a proactive Electrical Mechanical Assembler to join our skilled team and support the assembly, installation, and preparation of our temporary control rooms and tanks for deployment into the Seltank rental fleet. This is an exciting time to join us as we look towards long term sustainability and ultimately ensure we have the very best solutions to offer our vast customer base. This role would be perfect for someone with an Electrical/Mechanical background, looking to further their career or expand their existing experience. Key responsibilities: * Carry out electrical and mechanical installations in control containers in full compliance with IEE regulations * Ensure accurate installations of all electrical items, frames and control panels are fitted correctly in adherence to ECS regulations. * Ensure that any mounting of electrical items such as sockets and lights are correctly fitted adhering to BS7671 wiring regulations. * Accurately measure, cut and fit cable tray and ducting with precision, maintaining high-quality standards to meet customer requirements. Run cables within containment ready for connection. * Ensure all in-fleet electrical and mechanical items are pre-checked and tested thoroughly in store ready for the rental fleet * Safely load and off-load delivery vehicles, adhering to manual handling procedures and health & safety regulations * Log, unpack, and store equipment and components correctly and efficiently, ensuring accurate inventory and traceability * Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised workspace, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored and used both on-site and off-site * Install mechanical pipework, flow meters, valves, and VJ couplings, ensuring every component is securely and correctly fitted Qualifications & Experience * Recognised qualification in the mechanical and/or electrical assembly (Desirable). * Experience in similar role or working with similar disciplines. * Proven hands-on experience in mechanical and/or assembly * Strong practical skills in installation and assembly * Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. * Proactive and forward thinking with a methodical approach and attention to detail. * Confident in interpreting technical drawings and following written instructions and established processes * Flexibility to support the business to get the job done understanding the requirements of all stakeholders while maintaining a safe environment for all. * Understanding of all SHEQ requirements to uphold high levels of safety adhering to all safety legislation, ensuring staff and visitors are kept safe.
