* Strong understanding of Engineering Principles and extensive technical knowledge of construction techniques and best practices.

* Experience in iTwo / planning software.
* Strong communication and leadership skills.

The Head of Technical Services is responsible for leading and coordinating all the Design, Service, and Planning disciplines within the project. The role ensures collaboration between the Service leads and the construction delivery teams to deliver an assured project in accordance with the Project requirements.
* Responsibility for Technical Control, Planning, Environment & Consent, and Community Engagement functions.
* Support the Head of Technical Services with Design & QA/QC functions.
* Liaison with Construction delivery team, QA/QC team, Commercial team, Planning team, and Cost control team to provide relevant guidance and control.
* Ensure services teams are aware of the delivery programme, constraints, opportunities, and risks.
* Ensure project delivery aligns with STRABAG policies, procedures, and contractual requirements.
* Familiarity with, and commitment to, Health & Safety and Environmental Policies.
* Monitor and manage functional performance and KPIs.
* Manage budgets and costs related to the Services teams.
* Ensure works comply with Health & Safety Management Plan and are audited per the Quality Plan.
* Achieve environmental and sustainability deliverables.
* Maintain a 'Works Information Deliverable schedule' and ensure compliance.
* Deliver business improvement opportunities and report performance.
* Provide leadership through membership of the Project Leadership Team.
* Build, mentor, develop, and support the team to drive the project.
