Candlelighters is an award-winning Yorkshire charity bringing light and hope to families facing childhood cancer. We've been doing it for over 40 years — but they're only just getting started. Now, we need a Marketing & Communications Officer to help us share more stories, reach more people, and make even more impact.
What you'll be doing:
Creating engaging content for socials, newsletters, websites, and print.
Writing copy that sparks action – from campaigns to supporter comms.
Scheduling posts, managing channels, and keeping conversations going.
Helping shape campaigns with video, photography, and design (hello Canva ).
Making sure everything we share feels true to our voice and values.
Coming up with fresh ideas to keep our message bold, fun, and inspiring.
What you'll bring:
Skills & experience:
* Background in marketing, comms, or digital content.
* Confident with social media (and not afraid of an algorithm change or two).
* Copywriting that can flex from heartfelt to high-energy.
* Some design skills (Canva, or similar).
Organised, deadline-savvy, and a natural multi-tasker.
