About the role
We are seeking a Digital Engineering Apprentice to join our Bromsgrove office. You'll contribute to delivering retirement living schemes, focusing on architectural and structural design. Your learning will encompass digital skills for planning applications and technical project designs, using Sketchup and AutoCAD, and collaborating with our design and construction teams. Your activities will include:
* Creating architectural and engineering drawings with 3D/2D models.
* Solving design challenges.
* Developing skills through on-the-job training alongside formal education at local colleges.
Year 1
Experience across three core design areas via rotations:
* Midlands Regional Architectural Design Team
* Midlands Regional Technical Design Team
Years 2 & 3
Specialization in two of the areas experienced during Year 1, with ongoing exposure to support your studies and collaborative skills.
Throughout the apprenticeship, you'll benefit from our multidisciplinary approach, webinar training, and broader construction industry knowledge, fostering respect and appreciation for this diverse field.
Our environment promotes soft skills development such as report writing, communication, teamwork, and efficient working practices.
Qualifications gained:
* Digital Engineering Technician Apprenticeship
* BTEC Level 3 in Construction and the Built Environment
* NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Built Environment Design
Progression opportunities
Outstanding performers may advance to Level 4 apprenticeships and degree programs, pursuing careers as Architects, Architectural Technologists, or Structural Engineers.

Required qualifications include:
