We're looking for a proactive and collaborative Management Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality financial reporting and supporting strategic decision-making across an award-winning charity.
What you'll do:
1. Prepare monthly management accounts and ensure accurate financial postings.
2. Collaborate with Service Managers and Budget Holders to review variances and provide insights.
3. Provide effective line management and leadership to Finance Officers.
4. Assist with ongoing projects, offering proactive input and helping drive improvements.
About you:
* Are you a detail-driven finance professional who thrives on turning numbers into meaningful insights? A part-qualified accountant or graduate with strong relevant experience.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data clearly.
* Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and confident using accounting systems.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to self-manage and consistently deliver results.
