What you’ll do
1. Design and implement migrations of infrastructure and services from old to new platform
2. Liaise with service owners to arrange suitable timing for migration activities
3. Adhere to strict change control guardrails
4. Build automation for new platform
5. Understand and modify existing code to work with new technologies
6. Create new deployment pipelines using approved technologies
7. Adhere to configuration and API standards
8. Knowledge share and ability to work in a supportive manner with the distributed team.
What you need to have to succeed in this role
9. Solid technical knowledge of Python, API development and code testing and review.
10. Hands on experience with automation languages, platforms and tools (Bash, Jenkins/CICD pipelines, Terraform, Ansible, Hashicorp Vault)
11. Good basic knowledge of networking concepts (BGP, Routing, TCP/IP, certificates/PKI, VMware, KVM) with a focus on F5 load balancers.
