Torphichen Primary School is a non-denominational school with a roll of 90 pupils in the primary school and 15 pupils in the nursery. The school is staffed by a skilled and motivated team of teaching and non-teaching staff, working together to support and challenge learners across the schools. This Administrative Assistant role will deliver administrative support within Torphichen Primary School. The successful candidate will carry out financial and administrative operations, following West Lothian Council policies and procedures, in order to ensure the effective day to day running of the school and working closely in partnership with staff, parents and learners. You must have experience of working within an office environment and have good IT skills. Experience of Seemis and the ability to use Word and Excel to an advanced level would be desirable. You should be able to work as part of a team and enjoy a variety of tasks within your remit. This post is considered Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scotland Act 2007.
