About the Role
:
Due to a recent promotion, we are looking at hiring a Carpenter and Joiner to join our team. You will be part of a local team undertaking high standard Carpentry & Joinery repairs and refurbishment activities to Housing properties, delivering best in class customer service and satisfying all safety, quality and cost control standards.
1. Carrying out reactive carpentry repairs to social housing in occupied properties
2. Undertaking 1st and 2nd fix Carpentry
3. Responsible for duties to include but not limited to – hanging doors, skirting, architraves, fixing windows / doors, lock changes, repairing worktops, kitchen units etc
4. Providing high levels of customer care at all times
Role Criteria:
5. Experience or NVQ in Carpentry
6. Social housing experience
7. Full UK valid driving license
Candidates should be aware that all our roles are subject to relevant DBS/Security checks before commencement of employment.
To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be aged over 21 have held your licence over 3 months and have less than 9 points.
