Salary: £70,000 - 80,000 per annum
Hybrid | 5 office locations: East Midlands, South Midlands, Northamponshire
A major UK housing association is undertaking a significant transformation of its enterprise data estate. They are seeking a Data Manager who can provide hands‑on leadership across Data Platform, Data Products, and Data Governance, with a strong architectural mindset and a clear focus on execution.
This role requires someone who can move work from intent to delivery: creating clarity, unblocking teams, enforcing standards, and ensuring high‑quality, trusted data assets are consistently delivered.

Key Responsibilities
The Role
* Own end‑to‑end delivery across platform, products and governance
* Drive standards, clarity and momentum across multi‑disciplinary teams
* Deliver certified data products and a stable semantic layer
* Embed governance, quality rules and audit readiness into delivery
* Work closely with BI, IT and Transformation to enable meaningful data outcomes
* Lead and develop teams across engineering, modelling and governance
Experience Required
* Leading data engineering/modelling/governance teams
* Delivering modern data platforms and semantic layers
* Managing delivery in fast‑paced, complex environments
* Turning business requirements into structured, deliverable data outputs
Desirable
* Legacy estate modernisation
* Regulated or audit‑heavy environments
* Azure / Databricks exposure
