Service engineer

Service Engineer / Calibration Engineer / Calibration Technician

Join a leading provider of instrumentation and control products & services. The Service Engineer / Calibration Engineer / Calibration Technician will provide installation, calibration and service of instrumentation and control products such as pressure, temperature, level and flow equipment (flow meters, valves, sensors, gauges, micrometres and more). Full product training is provided.


Responsibilities

* Provide installation, calibration and service of instrumentation and control products such as pressure, temperature, level and flow equipment.
* Undertake planned and preventive maintenance at customer sites across the UK for products such as flow meters, valves, sensors, gauges, micrometres and more.
* Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on instrumentation equipment.
* Liaise with various engineering departments.


Qualifications

* Ideally have calibration and service experience with pressure, temperature, level and flow equipment (flow meters, valves, sensors, gauges, micrometres and similar engineering products/systems).
* Experience as an Instrumentation Engineer, Instrumentation Technician, Calibration Engineer or Technician, Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer or Technician, Mobile Engineer, Installation Engineer, or similar.
* Ability to maintain good professional working relationships with existing and new customers.
* Good working knowledge of three‑phase electrics is advantageous.
* A technical engineering degree, qualification or apprenticeship training would be advantageous.
* Willingness to work remotely and cover the UK, with regular travel to customer sites.
