LOCATION: Salford - Hybrid
PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: £26,000-£29,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

We're looking for a Partnership Assistant to support the delivery and growth of one of our biggest corporate partnerships. This is an exciting opportunity to play an important role within our High Value Partnerships team, helping to deliver impactful campaigns, events and engagement activity that drive meaningful change for children and young people across the UK.
Working closely with a Partnership Manager, you'll provide essential administrative, operational and creative support to ensure partnership activity runs smoothly. You'll help coordinate projects, support fundraising campaigns and contribute ideas that help grow and diversify income.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT:
• Support day‑to‑day delivery of the corporate partnership portfolio, ensuring smooth communication and operations.
• Work with the Partnership Manager on partnership activity, stakeholder engagement and campaign delivery.
• Coordinate meetings and events, including logistics, agendas, papers, minutes and follow‑ups.
• Lead allocated projects such as developing fundraising resources and supporting impact reporting.
• Provide administrative and project support across the team, representing the partnership at meetings and events when needed.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Confident written and verbal communicator, able to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Solid IT skills across Word, Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to present information clearly.
• Experience providing administrative or project support in a team environment.
• Proactive, positive and adaptable, with strong relationship‑building skills and a creative approach to problem‑solving.
• A passion and enthusiasm for BBC Children In Need's brand and work
DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED:
• Experience working in a target-driven environment
• Experience supporting events from planning through to delivery
• Experience with marketing and brand campaigns
• Awareness of corporate partnerships within the charity sector
