Job Opportunity: Electrician – Heathrow Airport

We are looking for a qualified and reliable Electrician to join their growing team operating across Heathrow Airport. This role involves a mix of planned and reactive electrical works within one of the UK’s most high-profile and secure environments.
You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical installations, maintenance, and minor project work across terminals and airside locations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out electrical installations and modifications (lighting, power, containment, etc.)
* Perform testing, inspection, fault finding, and repairs in line with current regulations
* Support small refurbishments and project works across operational areas
* Carry out reactive maintenance and ensure minimal disruption to airport operations
* Ensure all works meet current IET Wiring Regulations (BS7671) and internal safety standards
* Accurately complete job sheets and certification
* Work safely and compliantly in a live airport environment, following all security and H&S protocols
Requirements:
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
* City & Guilds 2391 / 2394/95 (Inspection & Testing) – desirable
* CSCS or ECS card
* Previous commercial or industrial experience (airport or secure environments is a plus)
* Must be eligible for Heathrow Airport security clearance (clean criminal record & right to work in the UK)
* Full UK driving licence (desirable)
