Who are Chilled Pubs?
It all started back in 2007 when Loren agreed to Richard's crazy dream, and they together purchased the Bulls Head in Repton. Fast forward 17 years, and they have a thriving pub business with 7 gorgeous sites, over 500 employees, an industry-leading food & drink menu, and, just to be a bit different, 7 mascot alpacas.
Driven by their vision to become the top pub brand in The Midlands, they’re passionate about finding superstars to live and breathe their values and ensure all guests are truly wowed by their Chilled Pub experience. With no signs of slowing down, Richard and Loren are always on the lookout for their next project and aim to reach a portfolio of 20 pubs soon!
What the role entails?
1. Supporting the kitchen and ensuring operations run smoothly as a Commis Chef.
2. Working closely with senior chefs to understand different roles and stations within the kitchen.
3. Learning all areas of the kitchen, from setup to food preparation and final clean down.
4. Working independently and as part of the team, taking ownership of your area, tracking orders, and ensuring efficiency.
5. Supporting in any section of the kitchen as needed, with a good understanding of the full menu and confidence to help in any area.
