Job Title: Senior Marketing Executive, Higher Education
Salary: £35,200 - £42,200
Location: Cambridge, UK – Hybrid (at least 2-3 days per week in the office)
Contract: Fixed term, 12-month contract
Hours: Full time (35 hours per week)
Are you a creative, collaborative and experienced professional working within marketing (or related profession), with an interest in learning and education? We're looking for a Senior Marketing Executive within our Academic division to market textbooks and digital learning solutions across a variety of subject areas.
You'll report into the Global Marketing Manager, Higher Education, and will have the opportunity to make a real impact on the success of our products and services in an area of key focus for the company.

About the Role
The role requires you to work closely with the Higher Education sales team, helping to contribute market expertise and coordinate marketing activities to increase adoptions of print and digital products globally. You will take a global lead on key titles within specific subjects and develop marketing content, plans, and resources for use by sales colleagues. Close collaboration with colleagues and authors around the world will be a central part of this role. You will take an active role in coordinating key project activity in specific areas of Higher Education marketing, and you will deputise for the Marketing Manager as required in key meetings and presentations.
This position is classified as a hybrid role, typically requiring 40–60% time collaborating and connecting face‑to‑face at your dedicated location. Flexible working requests will be considered from the first day of employment.
About You
You have experience in a marketing and/or customer solutions role, looking to take the next step in your career. You possess a solid understanding of marketing principles and are capable of implementing targeted and measurable marketing campaigns, from planning and creative stages through to launch and reporting. You are a confident communicator, capable of working effectively with numerous teams across the business, including those based in international offices, and have experience collaborating closely with colleagues in other departments to ensure effective collaboration on key projects. You are analytical and solutions‑oriented, and understand the principles of market research to inform new product development. You are driven to put the needs of the customer at the heart of the business and are committed to working as part of a small and collaborative team, able to adapt to quickly evolving market requirements.
Requirements
Minimum requirements include experience in marketing or a related professional role, a solid understanding of marketing principles, and the ability to implement targeted, measurable campaigns. Applicants should be analytical, solutions-oriented, customer-focused, collaborative, and adaptable to rapidly evolving market requirements.
If you meet the above minimum requirements, your application will be stronger if you can also demonstrate the following desirable criteria:
* A commercial background and experience with CRMs, marketing and web analytics and CMS platforms would be advantageous.
