ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Head of Valuations, you'll be the cornerstone of our client journey – managing valuation enquiries from initial contact through to consignment. Your role is crucial in ensuring clients experience a smooth, professional and friendly service that encourages trust and repeat business.
You'll work closely with our valuers, marketing and front of house teams to coordinate valuation appointments, track outcomes and support business growth by maintaining high conversion rates. This is a client facing role that requires discretion, professionalism and the ability to communicate clearly and confidently.
A broad understanding of upcoming sale events, general industry knowledge and awareness of overall business activities is crucial to providing informed guidance and building trust with clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Head of Valuations plays a pivotal role in coordinating and delivering an exceptional valuation service. Core duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Manage all valuation enquiries via email and WhatsApp with professionalism and efficiency.
· Welcome and assist clients attending in-house valuations.
· Schedule and coordinate home valuation appointments.
· Liaise with valuers and update client records accordingly, ensuring accurate data entry in our CMS.
· Track valuation outcomes (consigned, declined and pending) and ensure diligent follow up to maximise consignments.
· Manage the valuer's schedule and communications, ensuring timely and thoughtful responses.
· Provide front of house support as needed, including answering phones and assisting with walk in clients.
· Mentor and support an apprentice, helping develop their skills and knowledge in valuations and client service.
