About the role
This role will enable you to work across all council services supporting Strategic and Service Directors to meet service and corporate objectives. You will work with colleagues to manage projects which have been identified as corporate priorities for Gateshead as identified in our Corporate Plan. You will be involved in corporate analysis, deep dives including qualitative and quantitative analysis to enable effective decision making. You will be involved in projects to drive improvement across Council services to help deliver the Councils objectives. You will be required to be flexible to enable you to provide support across all services and directorates.
Responsibilities

* Be involved in corporate analysis, deep dives including qualitative and quantitative analysis to enable effective decision making.
* Drive improvement across Council services to help deliver the Council's objectives.
* Be flexible to provide support across all services and directorates.
Qualifications and Skills
* Knowledge of current legislation and policy affecting local government, and the ability to interpret information and trends to develop and inform strategy.
* Relevant degree or professional qualification.
* Experience of delivering successful projects with excellent creative skills.
* Experience of managing people in a project setting and using project management tools and techniques.

Salary £45,091 to £48,226 per annum. An outstanding pension contribution, annual leave starting at 28 days per year (pro-rata for part-time) rising to 32 days, with the option to buy up to 10 additional holidays per year.
