The successful candidate will be accountable to the Divisional Director for ensuring the highest standard of clinical care is delivered and that all financial, performance, and strategic targets are met in line with national and local priorities.
Main duties of the job: Accountable to the Divisional Director for ensuring that the highest standard of clinical care is delivered and that all financial, performance and strategic targets and objectives are met, in line with national and local strategic direction and standards. The Clinical Director is responsible for ensuring that Patient Quality and Safety issues have the highest priority within Neurology. The Clinical Director will be expected to provide visible leadership to all staff in the Directorate and to lead by example. The Clinical Director will ensure that services are delivered to agreed budgets, applying Value-Based health care principles, working with the wider Medicine Division to ensure Divisional and Health Board objectives are achieved.
