Job title: Warehouse Operative with FLT Reach Licence
Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor.
Summary
To ensure that all product, including but not limited to equipment and parts are received into and dispatched from the warehouse in an accurate and timely manner and the order and cleanliness of the warehouse area is not compromised as part of the process.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities
Description
Provide support to ensure that all products are picked and dispatched as required and are exactly in line with the relevant transport advice notes
Ensure that accurate and diligent scanning of the products dispatched are completed correctly within the warehouse management system (currently GRGI)
Maintain parts stock locations within main warehouse, ensuring that quantities and counts are correct as directed, and OOS items are identified and reported immediately
Accurate receiving of stock into the warehouse using SAP and WMS GRGI, inclusive of 3rd party product
Assist in the control of warehouse stocks, planned checks of stock inventory, and investigating discrepancies (demonstrating audit trails where necessary)
Ensure quality of product through visual management throughout the warehouse
Ensure that any discrepancies at dispatch are highlighted to the stock controller and warehouse supervisor
Ensure all work is carried out to the set levels of health and safety including third party personnel on site
Skills, knowledge and experience
A confident PC user and sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, specifically Outlook, Excel, and Word. Knowledge of SAP is an advantage. Experience within a challenging warehouse environment is essential. Reach licence required.
