The Customer-Facing RF Application Engineer acts as a technical bridge between the company and its clients, focusing on the design, integration, troubleshooting, and optimization of RF solutions tailored to customer requirements. This role combines deep technical expertise in RF engineering with strong interpersonal and communication skills, supporting customers throughout the product lifecycle and ensuring their successful adoption and implementation of RF technologies.

Key Responsibilities

* Engage directly with customers to understand their RF system requirements, design workflows, and technical challenges.
* Lead technical activities throughout the sales and support lifecycle, including product presentations, demonstrations, and technical evaluations.
* Conduct RF testing, analysis, and troubleshooting, using tools such as spectrum analyzers and network analyzers to ensure optimal system performance.
* Deliver customer training sessions, technical documentation, and support materials to facilitate knowledge transfer and customer self-sufficiency.
* Collaborate with internal engineering, R&D, and product development teams to relay customer feedback and contribute to product improvements.
* Participate in field activities such as site surveys, field tests, and on-site support, which may require domestic and occasional international travel.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
* Strong knowledge of RF principles, including high-frequency, microwave, and antenna concepts (S-parameters, wave propagation, antenna patterns, etc.).
* Hands-on experience with RF design and simulation tools and RF test equipment.
* Proven experience in customer-facing roles, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Willingness to travel as needed to support customer engagements.
