The Role:
To meet the growing demand for our technology and services, we are now seeking a Collections Specialist to join our collections department. You will be responsible for promoting and sustaining a constructive, supportive and professional working relationship with all customers and colleagues. Being one of the fastest growing Fintech businesses globally we are looking for exceptionally talented and self-motivated person who has a desire to build a career within thepany.
Requirements
1. To provide a first-class service relating to the resolution of any non/under-paying customers
2. Case management of high value accounts in arrears across varying and unique circumstances
3. Handling inbound and outbound telephone calls, create bespoke letter and email content with high levels of care, awareness and accuracy
4. Build positive relationships with our merchants to validate their circumstances and resolve with a positive oue for both YouLend and the merchant.
5. Negotiate, implement and execute positive solutions with the Merchants circumstances in mind, while balancing the best interests of the business
6. Work with a wide range of teams within thepany to understand, strategize and implement the most appropriate course of action for each account
7. Working closely with Team Leaders and Collections & Recoveries Management to help review and develop the wider recovery strategies
8. Good insolvency understanding
9. Strong understanding of legal escalation within Collections & Recoveries.
10. Ensuringpliance with all appropriate legislation regulatory body guidelines
11. Empathy, forbearance and professionalism
12. Strongmunication skills, accuracy and confidence
13. The ability to deal with a variety of challenges, innovate and think on your feet
14. Business acumen, entrepreneurial spirit with real enthusiasm for helping SMEs. Experience within the finance industry is advantageous.
15. Ability to manageplaint related matters, together with fostering a positive resolve
Essential:
16. Minimum of 3 years' experience within Credit Control/Collections/Debt Recovery environment

17. Be highly reliable, organised and adaptable
18. Have excellent attention to detail and confidence working with data
19. Entrepreneurial mindset, with strong work ethic and can-do attitude
