We’re working closely with a leading name in the EV charging space as they expand their delivery team and look to bring in an experienced Estimator to support their continued growth. Role Overview:
As an Estimator, you'll play a critical role in supporting the commercial and delivery teams with accurate and timely costings across a variety of EV infrastructure projects. You’ll work closely with design, procurement, and delivery teams to help shape competitive bids and ensure projects are both viable and profitable.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare detailed cost estimates for EV charging installations (AC/DC)
* Analyse drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
* Work with suppliers and contractors to gather quotes and ensure pricing accuracy
* Assist with value engineering and identifying cost-saving opportunities
* Contribute to tender submissions and support bid processes
* Track cost variations and maintain updated pricing databases
* Collaborate with project managers to monitor project cost performance
What We're Looking For:
* Experience estimating within utilities, civils, or EV infrastructure projects
* Excellent attention to detail and strong commercial awareness
* Confident using estimation tools and Excel (experience with software like Candy, Conquest or Causeway is a plus)
* A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
