Job overview
We are looking for somebody with motivation and enthusiasm for this new and varied role. As part of a small friendly office team, you will be working closely with our Office Manager to provide administrative support within the office and to our sites.
Skills and about you
You will have a can-do personality and the ability to manage your own workload, but also show flexibility and the ability to manage competing priorities. You will be able to overcome problems encountered while appreciating that tasks need to be completed to a deadline.
You will need excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy.
You will need excellent organisation skills, the ability to work within a team and be able to remain calm under pressure.
Experience
Proven experience in Office Administration.
Proficient in various office tasks.
Excellent use of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook.
Role specific training will be provided where necessary.

Key Responsibilities
Office Administration and Site Support
· Answering the phone and receiving visitors
· Provide administrative support for Site Managers and the Office Team
· Purchasing of office consumables
· Ad hoc ordering for items which are not available through supply agreements
· Visit Post Office for parcels and letters
· Assist with processing supplier invoices on construction specific accounts software
· Potentially longer hours to provide holiday cover.
Hours
· Monday to Friday
· Circa 15 hrs a week
Salary and benefits
· £13 to £16 per hour
· 25 days holiday (pro-rata)
