A day includes:
* Communicating with all required departments and support functions to ensure a smooth and timely operation
* Working with Transport Planning to find solutions where required
* Scheduling drivers and mates into the transport schedule ensuring legal rest breaks are adhered to at all times
* Communicating with drivers and mates to ensure start times are met
* Maintaining and updating driver and mate capability planners and forecasting tools to ensure required cover is achieved
* Working with our driver provider to ensure the plan is covered

What you’ll need:
* Previous resource planning experience within a transport environment (essential)
* Knowledge and understanding of WTD and EU regulations
* Flexible approach to performing other duties within the transport operation as requested by your Line Manager
* Attention to detail
* Calm approach in a time‑pressured environment
* Excellent time and attendance record
* Intermediate experience of MS Excel and Word and Outlook
* Confident and outgoing personality to communicate with driver and mates
