Key Responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of global raw material suppliers, including order book control, capacity planning, and supplier performance. Lead RFQ ( Request for Quotation) processes to ensure competitive bids and supply security. Support supplier consolidation and improvement initiatives to reduce costs and improve delivery (OTIF) and quality (RFT). Handle purchasing tasks via MRP: creating POs, rescheduling, cancellations, and spot buys. Develop and maintain KPIs for projects and processes. Support and back up the Subcontract Buyer (Subcon), including raising and expediting orders. Negotiate pricing and manage long-term agreements with suppliers. Lead export/import processes and act as the company’s go-to expert on this. Drive continuous cost improvements and stock reduction strategies.
