Hate it when your pizza shows up cold? Be the person who makes sure the Pizza never misses the “delivery time”!
Our client is on the lookout for a Customer Operations Manager to join the pizza team of a brand that’s absolutely dominating the frozen aisle. These pizzas are super tasty - you’ve probably got a few knocking round your freezer already. They’re known for precision, quality, and a knack for nailing logistics that make the rest of the category jealous.
The setup’s is already in great shape, but this role is all about making something good even better. You’ll be the person connecting the dots from the moment a pizza leaves the factory line to the second it lands in a customer depot. End-to-end. No gaps, no delays, no cold slices.
Be ready to manage their long-standing partnership with one of the UK’s top frozen 3PL specialists. This relationship is built on trust, teamwork, and the occasional “let’s dig into that OTIF number” chat. You’ll be in daily contact with them - keeping orders flowing, pallets moving, and service levels sharp. There’s a weekly ops call, a monthly review, and plenty of hands-on collaboration in between.
Day-to-day, that means managing the flow of pallets, checking the status of every order, and investigating any depot non-conformances before they become a problem. You’ll oversee SHUNTs (when a lorry picks up product from site) and make sure the transition from factory to 3PL is seamless. And when it comes to delivery performance, you’ll be keeping a forensic eye on those OTIF scores - making sure every pizza gets where it needs to be, right on time.
Internally, you’ll be the link between Operations, Demand Planning, Finance, and Quality - the calm, clear communicator who keeps everyone aligned. Lead a small but mighty team (think Supply Chain Systems Assistant, Inventory & Supply Analyst, and Customer Ops Administrator), supporting them to deliver consistently high standards while constantly finding ways to do things smarter.
You’ll thrive here if you’re curious, pragmatic, and great at solving problems in the moment. Ensure you have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of FMCG logistics, and experience working with 3PLs. SAP knowledge would be the cherry on top.
In return, you’ll get to work for a business that’s leading the frozen food market, not chasing it. One that’s genuinely open to new ideas and continuous improvement. The pace is quick, the stakes are high (these pizzas don’t move themselves), and the satisfaction of seeing it all land on time is unmatched.
If you love the idea of orchestrating one of the slickest supply chains in frozen food and you fancy being the reason the nation never runs out of pizza, then this might just be your tastiest role yet!
